Andrew M. Roher’s practice includes emphasis on insurance coverage, premises liability, transportation liability, and New York Labor Law. He analyzes contracts, insurance policies and litigation to assess indemnification and insurance coverage issues. He specializes in bringing litigation to an early resolution by summary judgment motion practice.
Prior to joining Bartlett LLP, Mr. Roher practiced for more than a decade with two major New York City law firms. Prior to that he served as assistant general counsel for an AIG subsidiary that managed claims for insurance companies and for self-insured corporations. He has substantial experience in professional liability, insurance defense and insurance coverage matters. He has published articles regarding insurance coverage and the defense of New York Labor Law Claims.
Mr. Roher has a Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics and statistics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He worked in the financial accounting field prior to attending evening law school at St. John’s University. Andrew enjoys outdoor life including hiking in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and upstate New York.
