Senior Trial Partner Robert Elliott continues his winning ways!
Following a three week long trial, on May 5, 2023, a Riverhead jury delivered a unanimous verdict in favor of his Long Island based Interventional Cardiologist. This medically complicated cardiology case concerned alleged neurologic complications following an emergency cardiac catheterization at a Long Island hospital. The female patient claimed that she had developed a traumatic neuropathy at the access site which led to overwhelming pain and suffering and disability which would be lifelong in duration. The jury rejected the allegations against Robert’s client out of hand after deliberating more than 9 hours over 3 days! A very gratifying result indeed.
