Anne Marie Garcia

Anne Marie Garcia is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department practicing in both State and Federal Courts. She has a wide range of experience in all aspects of liability defense including New York Labor Law, transportation, premises, property damage and general liability accidents. In accidents involving catastrophic injuries, Ms. Garcia interacts extensively with police, attorneys, investigators, accident reconstruction experts and other emergency responders to obtain and preserve crucial evidence that can be later used in the defense of a litigation. She has extensive experience in defending a case from inception through resolution. In her nearly 20-year career, she has obtained over 10 trial verdicts and argued more than 35 appeals in the Appellate Division First and Second Departments. Ms. Garcia approaches her cases aggressively and practically to achieve early, cost-effective resolutions.

Ms. Garcia is a 2001 graduate of New York Law School. She has a master’s degree in public administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Ms. Garcia is admitted to the Courts of the State of New York, the U.S.D.C. for the Eastern District of New York, the U.S.D.C. for the Southern District of New York, the Court of Appeals for the United States Armed Forces and the United States Supreme Court.
