Dawn M. Pignatelli

Dawn M. Pignatelli is a senior associate in the firm’s litigation practice group. Her areas of practice include the defense of long-term care and assisted living facilities, as well as homecare and hospice services, and physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pignatelli began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York. Ms. Pignatelli served the people of the State of New York for five years, where she was responsible for the investigation and trial of criminal cases. Ms. Pignatelli also worked for several years on a complex mass tort action involving the victims of Superstorm Sandy.

Ms. Pignatelli graduated from the City University of New York School of Law in 2007 and Rutgers University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2004. Ms. Pignatelli is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and the U.S.D.C. for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

In addition, Ms. Pignatelli is actively involved as a member of The Association of Healthcare Risk Management of New York (also known as AHRMNY, the New York Chapter of ASHRM). As a Member of the Board of Directors of AHRMNY, Ms. Pignatelli assists the organization in enhancing the quality of health services and the professional practice of health care.
