John Yoon

Mr. Yoon is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group. His practice includes the defense of claims of medical malpractice, long term and home care liability, transportation liability, and premises liability. As a member of this group, he also represents contractors in construction accident matters where violations of the New York Labor Law and Industrial Codes are alleged. As our litigation group also defends property damage and motor vehicle accident claims he defends our clients in these matters as well. He has specific expertise in general liability matters which arise in the health care setting and regularly achieves dismissal of these cases on motion. He has a hands on approach and appreciates that a “boots on the ground” partnership with his clients makes all the difference in the world in achieving success in litigation. John is known for thorough preparation and leaves no stone or defense theory unturned in the defense of his client. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Yoon was associated with another major medical malpractice defense firm where he represented hospitals and physicians who were sued for professional liability.

Mr. Yoon graduated from Brooklyn Law School and is admitted to practice before the State Courts of New York.
